Violet Hirst

Violet Hirst started her music career in her hometown of Queenstown, playing the local venues every so often but truly found her sound in the capital, Wellington.

With songs that are sung in a purple haze while staring at the mountains, Violet’s music draws influence from the mountains that surround her, the love shown by her parents and the most hidden notes from her diary.

With her debut Sabine we explore a foreign love and a fairytale romance inspired by Nick Bantock’s art-book series ‘Griffin & Sabine’.

Let the music teleport you to a field of long flowing grass as you gaze over the horizon.
