Miss Cressida
Formed like all uni bands, Miss Cressida found each other at a party over a few beers and then spent the last couple years perfecting their live performance and sound alongside some of NZ’s best musicians and claiming their self described title as NZ’s most ceebs band.
A lot of the bands influence flows from Eli Superflyy the lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Jamin Forlong (Lead Guitar), Oscar Alty (Bass) and Aaron Bray (Drums) all bring their own spin to the concepts Eli brings to a practise sesh and thats how the silky cress tunes are formed.
After adding multiple sold out San Fran shows to their name and a decent run of playing at every venue in Welly they’ve got strong roots in the capital.
With parallels to an early Arctic Monkey, a little bit of Marlins Dreaming and a lot more to prove to the world, Miss Cressida are worth tuning into.
